- Same Day Shipping: All in-stock orders placed by 2pm EST ship that day!
- Large items require additional P&H. These charges will be added to the standard shipping cost.
- Your standard ground order will ship via UPS, USPS, or FedEx at Shar's discretion.
- For standard shipping, we guarantee 10 business days for delivery.
- Free shipping on string-only orders over $40.00 (to USA destinations only)        via standard shipment, $5 for string-only orders under $40.00.
- Instruments shipped to a PO Box: There will be an additional charge of $20 for violins, violas, mandolins and their cases and for orchestra, cello and bass stands that are shipped to PO Boxes, due to the higher costs of shipping these through the Post Office. Cellos and basses cannot be shipped to PO Boxes.
- Due to the volatility of fuel prices, shipping rates may change.
- All delivery times are business days - Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- Economy and Express rates are based on our 'Best Way' shipping services. If you wish to specify a carrier, you will be quoted actual freight costs, which will be substantially higher.

- Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO, FPO, PO Boxes: 
   - Express shipments only $10 additional
   - 2nd day and next day air - call for quote

2nd Day Service Shipping Upgrade
- If your order is placed before 2:00pm EST Monday-Friday, with 2nd day air selected as the shipping method, your order will be shipped that business day.  If your order is placed after 2:00pm EST Monday-Friday or on the weekend, your order will be shipped the following business day. 
- Available in the Continental USA only. 2nd day service is not available to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
- Delivery is guaranteed within 2 business days. Weekends are not considered a business day. Orders placed before 2PM on Friday will be delivered by the following Tuesday.

UPS Next Day Services
Next Day Services are not available online. If you would like to overnight your order, please contact our Catalog Sales Department at 800.248.7427 for more information.

Canadian Shipping

Canadian Shipping and Handling
Canadian orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel and will arrive within 5-11 business days.  We ship all in-stock merchandise promptly.  Duty and taxes are included in your order total.  We collect the GST or PST and the duty fees right when we process your order, so there are no charges when the package is delivered.

International Shipping

International Shipping
We offer Air Parcel Post and UPS International.  Air Parcel Post is a minimum of US$22.00 and generally takes 4-6 weeks for delivery.  UPS International is a minimum of US$27.50 and usually takes 5-7 business days.  You will be quoted a more precise shipping cost upon placing your order, and will have the opportunity to change or cancel your order prior to actual shipment.

Customs
We are required to list the contents of all international packages and the exact total value of your shipment, even if the order is a gift.  Any customs, taxes or import duties are your responsibility and are levied once the package reaches your country.  Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.  We do not take responsibility for goods confiscated by customs officials or by similar authorities.  Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
